FARO’s concern for the devastation in Haiti began humbly as an internal company fundraiser but quickly evolved into a PPPC National Convention show-floor success story. Their Canada / Haiti cross flag stock lapel pin was offered at $2.00 per pin with full proceeds going to World Vision for Haiti earthquake victims. Distributors and suppliers alike clamored to donate often more than the $2.00 suggested amount. The whole Faro internal and PPPC show promotion lasted only a few days but raised over $1300.00 for Haiti!

When asked about the success of the program, Tony Ronci, FARO’s president said this “It started as an idea from one of our account managers and it spread like wild fire. Some distributors dropped $20 in the pot. We are very proud to be part of such a worthy cause.”

As a result of this success, and a desire to do more, FARO is launching another campaign offering exponential fundraising opportunities for Haiti. Faro is offering the Canada //Haiti pin at EQP so distributors have room to begin their own fundraising efforts for Haiti while promoting good will. Further, Faro will donate 50% per pin to Haiti – that’s $0.45 per pin sold. End-users in all industries can jump on the Raising Hope for Haiti bandwagon by distributing these flag pins to raise awareness and possibly even develop their own fundraising program for the Haitians.

A truly WIN-WIN-WIN situation with the ultimate winners being the earthquake victims in Haiti.
